Breakfast
There are many ways to experience breakfast at the Wakefield Inn, but all of them are delicious. Breakfast is served from 8 to 9 AM in the dining room. Breakfast menus vary, but they always include fresh fruit, home-baked pastries, and a hot main dish.
If our schedule doesn’t meet your needs, coffee, cookies and a selection of fresh fruit are available in the dining room 24 hours a day for early risers, late risers or for midnight snacks. Speaking of coffee, ours is fresh ground, fresh brewed, and delicious. Roasted locally by Black Bear Coffee Tuftonboro and shade-grown.
Many of our ingredients are sourced from local farmers (sausage, eggs, most produce) or even from our own garden, in season.
We love to cater to your needs. So if you have alternative diet needs, we’re knowledgable and happy to serve. Let us know in advance of any allergies, or preference for vegetarian, vegan, Atkins or Gluten-free options.
"Outstanding Breakfasts" Breakfast was a surprise and a delight every morning! The chef/owner uses locally grown and farmed ingredients, as well as some from her own veggie garden, and prepares them to perfection. I would return again for the breakfasts alone. I enjoyed taking a final cup of coffee out to the front porch to sit on a rocker and read before starting out for the day. The staff were as cordial and attentive as any in my experience with B&B's and probably the best breakfast we've had any where.
