Sisson Room
Named in honor of Lou Sisson, a former innkeeper who was so dear to our community. This first floor room overlooking the rear garden and patio has a queen bed, two comfortable chairs, working fireplace and flat screen TV. Original features like a beehive oven, exposed beams and honey colored wide pine floorboards give this room plenty of Colonial charm. Custom drapery and coordinating bedding finish out this lovely room. Sleeps two.

Staying at the Wakefield Inn was a lovely experience. The owner works hard to keep such great standards at the Inn. The historical home is beautifully appointed. The bed was most comfy. The gardens are lovely. The people very friendly and the food just marvelous. We will certainly return. I can only imagine how elegant it will be in the wintertime!~ Cyn & John G.
