Whittier Room
This room is named after one of America’s famous poets, John Greenleaf Whittier, who stayed at the inn in 1891 while vacationing in the area. This room features a king-sized Shaker canopy bed covered by a down comforter and handmade quilt. There is also a full-sized pull-out sofa and flat screen TV. The private bathroom is just down the hall. Sleeps two to four.

Our stay at the Wakefield Inn was very relaxing. The hostess, Janel, and her family went out of their way to make sure that we had all the comforts of home. The room (with bath) was very spacious and inviting. We were very pleased that this location allowed us easy access to lakes, and golf was less than 20 minutes away. The location also gave us the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful views and the lovely colors of Autumn in New Hampshire. We had an excellent stay - Thank you.~ TripAdvisor.com Review
