Whittier Room

This room is named after one of America’s famous poets, John Greenleaf Whittier, who stayed at the inn in 1891 while vacationing in the area. Our largest room has a King-sized Shaker canopy bed covered by a down comforter and ‘Comfy’ sheets making for a good night sleep. There is also a twin daybed with trundle making this room good for a family. Private bath just down hall from room with a clawfoot tub just great for a long soak. Flat-screen TV with built in DVD player, so bring along your favorite movie. You may even get inspired to wax poetic in the room’s journal. Sleeps two to four.

Room Rate: $99-$149

Our stay at the Wakefield Inn was very relaxing. The hostess, Janel, and her family went out of their way to make sure that we had all the comforts of home. The room (with bath) was very spacious and inviting. We were very pleased that this location allowed us easy access to lakes, and golf was less than 20 minutes away. The location also gave us the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful views and the lovely colors of Autumn in New Hampshire. We had an excellent stay - Thank you.~ TripAdvisor.com Review
