Our Culinary Retreat is a getaway and cooking class in one great package. You will learn to cook a 5-course meal with Chef Janel Martin. She is a classically trained chef, and will teach you the basic skills needed to be able to recreate what you will learn, and create your own unique dishes on your own.
You will learn to make Composed Salads, Soups, Entrees, Bread, and the best part DESSERTS, our Chef's specialty. Janel's desserts have even been reviewed by the food critic of the Washington Post. How does Chocolate Truffle Cake or Lavender Creme Brulee sound? mmmmm.
The Culinary Retreat is for 3 nights, Friday to Sunday and departs after a full breakfast on Monday. This package will include all meals, including the Grand 5-course meal featuring all the dishes we will make over the course, paired with some outstanding local wines.

Have a friend who wants to tag along, but not cook? We have that option. They can enjoy the fruits of your labor at the end of the day, and shop, antique, get a massage or just sit by the fire with a good book. They will get all the perks of the package with the exception of the Chef's Jacket and the cooking class. Price: $185 (ppdo + tax)
